What is OEKO-TEX®?
The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification is an independent international testing and certification system for textiles. It has been designed to ensure textiles aren’t created with harmful substances. In the test, they take into account numerous substances, which may be harmful to human health. They test all components comply with the criteria, this includes threads, buttons and zips.
Label Check
Using the number on the label you can check the validity of the certification at any time. Or find other brands that are also certified, you can search for them here.
Globally Standardised
The test criteria is globally standardised and is updated regularly. Testing is carried out by globally recognised third-parties which are independent of the manufacturers of the fabric.
Class I Certification
There are four product classes recognised, with stricter requirements applied to products. Our 100% Bamboo Sheets are made from fabric certified according to product class I. This class has the strictest requirements.
