These are really handy. I didn’t know about them & wish I have been using them for years. It’s cut down my drying time & I stopped using fabric softener with my towels as I found these really help soften them. So I guess I am saving a bit of money on electricity and softener.

Love these dryer balls. Had never used them before but they’re taking half an hour off our drying time and the washing comes out much softer.

The secret to wrinkle-free washing

Have you ever opened your dryer thinking it was finished, only to feel damp and humid clothes, towels and bedding? The secret to how to dry clothes quickly is wool dryer balls.

You wear clothes every day of the week (we hope), which means you need to wash clothes every week, and for some, multiple times a week!

When you pop dryer balls into your dryer they bounce around, absorbing moisture and creating air circulation between items. The result is faster drying, softer and less wrinkly clothes.

Dryer balls are the perfect substitute for fabric softener, making them an eco-friendly and low tox solution for your home. Avoid spending money on big bottles of chemicals and reduce your electricity bill. Dryer balls may be a simple swap, but they are a powerful one.

Our Wool Dryer Balls are made with 100% New Zealand wool which naturally wick moisture away from the clothes.

Caring for your wool dryer balls

Instructions for use:
Place all four dryer balls into the dryer with a load of washing and let them work their magic.

As our dryer balls bounce and move around they help your clothes, towels and sheets stay separated, creating air pockets for circulation. This is how laundry balls work and how to dry clothes quickly.

Essential oils are categorised as Class 3 Flammable Liquids. Please be aware they can ignite at high temperatures. Dryers on low heat settings typically run at approximately 51C. On high settings, dryers may run up to 75C.

While we don’t recommend applying essential oils to your dryer balls, please keep in mind:

  • Jasmine & Ylang Ylang have higher flash points.
  • If you choose to place oil on the surface of your dryer balls, only use 2-3 drops. Let it dry for one minute before putting your laundry balls in the clothes dryer.
  • Do not overload with clothes or there will be less ventilation.
  • Dry on a low heat setting.
  • Never dry clothes too long, as this can generate static.

We recommend using all four dryer balls at the same time to quicken the dry time.

Air drying is the preferred method to extend the life of your bamboo sheets. If you choose to use a dryer, select low to medium heat and add your wool dryer balls for air circulation. Avoid over-drying as it can lead to shrinkage.

Wool dryer balls are the perfect eco-friendly and reusable substitute for fabric softener. Wool dryer balls soften washing naturally by circulating air. They also help to reduce static and wrinkles from forming.
